Your excellent exposition made me wonder if ultimately to get enough people on board Libra (or something like it) will have to shift the risk of instability explicitly from the user of the token to its originator, by guaranteeing its initial value, i.e. its purchasing power. If people are smart, we’ll hold out for that.
