Well, first of all, whoever thinks that looks like a "gang" has obviously never seen one. Check out the young man with the collared shirt and sweater. I do think some of them are trying really hard to project the old 'too cool for school' attitude, but that hardly amounts to anything dangerous. Arbitrarily assigning attitudes of malevolence to people of (more recent) African heritage is the essence of racism. (According to the scientists, if we look back far enough all humans are of "African heritage.")
