We do need all the new good thinking we can get these days. I don't agree completely with Jim Roye's comment, but I don't see how parties listing their candidates would have much effect. People would be voting for a party unless for some reason a particular candidate drew a great deal of attention one way or another.

Overall, I do see it as an improvement over the current system for its potential for breaking the stranglehold of the Big Two parties on our political system. It would also end gerrymandering--which might be its greatest contribution.
