To suggest that liberals are worse than conservatives about blasphemously invoking Jesus to suit their political agenda is ludicrous.

As I understand it, Jesus taught that we should love one another. In a world in which people loved one another there would be no government because there would be no need for any such thing. There would be no economy, either: instead of exchange, there would only be giving with no thought of recompense of any kind.

That is why Jesus had nothing to say about government or economics.
