To My Mind, Here’s What’s Coming in the U.S.

being judged to be a ‘loyal American’ or not

I don’t know the details of the Trump/Republican/’conservative’ agenda. I understand that ‘dealing with illegal immigrants’ is at the top of the list.

Here’s what I do know: sooner or later — and I am convinced it will be very much be sooner — the focus will turn to ‘disloyal Americans’. To be disloyal will be to oppose the aforementioned agenda — any of it, whatever it might turn out to be. To be ‘disloyal’ will be to ‘deserve’ the same treatment as the illegal immigrants receive — if not worse.

Of course, from there the process must move to seeking out potentially disloyal Americans. That is point at which ‘authoritarian’ transmutes to totalitarianism.
