Those “Following” Must Become Leaders

to save Liberal society (i.e., democracy and the rule of law with maximizing liberty as its primary concern)

This is real. It is not egoism. It is not Utopian daydreaming. It is not seeking after readership. It is only about saving Liberal society — by making it better.

To save Liberal society requires an advance in our understanding of justice. Politically, that advance in justice must also translate directly into material benefits for all citizens of the nation.

I have been advocating for all that here in Medium since 2017. “Equality Is All We Need” (here in Medium) relates an indisputable advance in our understanding of justice. The economic paradigm that follows from that would make the existing economy fully self-regulating while eliminating unemployment, poverty, taxation, and public debt — and increasing sustainability — all with no limit on income/wealth, with built-in protections against inflation. None of that requires any person to change any behavior. It could be implemented in any nation with a single legislative Act. (“For Crying Out Loud, Accept That A Solution Actually Exists,” also here in Medium, with options for further reading.)

I do presume that anyone “Following” me is as concerned as I am for the survival of Liberal society. So far, though, not one other person has published a single article in Medium advocating for any of it.

Yet, according to Medium I have had over four hundred “Followers” and at the time of this writing have thirty-three people “Following.” I realize those are paltry numbers. They are, however, large enough. Successful political movements have begun with much less.

For anyone who cares whether or not Liberal society survives, we can ensure that it will. Now is the time to act. Very soon it could be too late.

Become an advocate for a nation with more justice and better material outcomes for all its citizens. Be a leader.
