I apologize for going a bit off-point, but in the Bible it is explicitly stated that Adam was created for the express purpose of tending the Garden of Eden. That comes in Chapter 2, after the Creation narrative of Chapter 1 that included the appearance of human beings. Perhaps the Bible is telling us that the species we call Homo erectus came in Chapter 1 and Adam was the first of us Homo sapiens.

As for the rest of this thesis of denial, most people who deny climate change do so because to accept its validity is to accept something that liberals accept as being valid. In their minds, liberals cannot be right about anything. I know that because I listen to right-wing radio.
