There is a way to make 'capitalism' better as an economic system: "Same Economy, Way Better Outcomes for Society" (here in Medium). It 'only' requires an adjustment to the exiting monetary paradigm, a different way of supplying the existing economy with money (as currency).

This is not a UBI or MMT; it can be thought of as an expansion on the concept of 'quantitative easing'. Like QE, money would be created as needed. Like QE, no debt would be involved in creating that money. Unlike QE, there would be built-in protections against inflation.
