There is a way to have output governed (passively but effectively) by demographics. That reduces the variables for sustainability to one: population. With this adjustment within the existing economy (it is at bottom only a different way of supplying the economy with money--as currency) there would be no unemployment or poverty at any level of total output. The political imperative that exists in all nations to maximize output is eliminated. It can be accomplished with a single legislative Act. Advocates are needed.
