There is a solution. It requires no redistribution of anything. The 1% can keep what they have stolen.

For the rest of us, there would be a guaranteed minimum income that we could set at any (reasonable) level: if it were up to me, it would be $18/hr.; $720/wk. 'In-kind' benefits, such as paying for health insurance, education, etc., would add to total remuneration. It can be thought of as a kind of permanent 'quantitative easing' for 'the people', but with built-in protections against inflation.
