The rationale for an inheritance tax is not a "debt to society."

The issue with an inheritance is fairness. My point was that people who insist that no people should get any extra material assistance from society due to the circumstances of their birth need to consider the implications of that position for getting extra material assistance of another kind due only to circumstances of birth.
