The presidency doesn't come with a magic wand, for crying out loud. It does come with one party in the Congress dominated by people with the intellectual maturity of nine-year-olds and the emotional maturity of middle-schoolers, whose only thought is to 'play to the Republican base', a group of people so pathetic that having the power to send people like that to the Congress actually makes them feel better about themselves.
