The overwhelming problem in Georgia is the new law that, because it is so vague, literally allows the Republican Party to be the sole judge of the validity of the outcome of any election. The Republican legislature will be able to declare any election in the state invalid for any reason it might make up and to appoint a commission (that legally could be all Republicans) that would recommend to the legislature what must be done to 'make it right'. Whether the Republicans might choose to 'play fair' or not, the law itself (if it is upheld by the Supreme Court) is the end of democracy in Georgia.
