The Just Governance of Society
in a “1 min read”
Individuals’ conduct:
no killing, harming, coercing, stealing, or manipulating (which includes lying, cheating, etc.) to get what you want in this world.
The political process (the process of effecting choices for the community as a whole):
freedom of political speech for all;
a democratic distribution of all other forms of participation in the process (petitioning the government, peaceable assembly, running for office, voting), i.e., any restrictions must be universally applicable and universally applied.
The economy (the production/acquisition of goods/services):
create money as needed to fund an income for which any (adult) citizen could become eligible (in an amount sufficient for a decent life materially);
create money as needed to fund government (all government, from local to national — forevermore at the current per capita rate of total government spending);
create a mechanism to withdraw money from the economy (such that people and businesses could retain plenty of cash and assets, based on income, and no money would be collected from any person or business before it could be used for purchases/investment).
