The other day I was at the house of a friend and ex-brother-in-law (who had been married to a sister of mine). We were watching T.V. and shooting the breeze. A commercial came on in which the people in it were asked what the hardest words to say are. Once they got past the mistaken notion that the question referred to ‘difficult to pronounce’, people started offering short sentences that conveyed emotions or sentiments, like “I love you.” Kurt and I immediately agreed that the hardest words for people to say are “You’re right.”
