Thanks for an interesting look at an important topic.

I do distinguish between ideology and religion. The former involves secular believes, not sacral beliefs.

To my mind fascism is distinguished from all other ideologies in that it does not claim to be universal or seek universality (though fascists do hope to impose a fascist regime on all others). It asserts a hierarchical relationship among groups of humans that can be be based on race, nationality, gender, or even some narrower combination of some of those or all of those. Of course, every fascist always happens to be, coincidentally, a representative the apex of humanity.
