Thank you for that informative essay. I was unaware of Fisher or “hauntology” or “capitalist realism,” though I have encountered, “The future has been cancelled.”

As far as I am concerned that is some damned good thinking. It does contribute to explaining why my original approach to justice (mutual respect in effecting choices), and specifically its implications for the economy (implementing a “democratically distributed income”), have been, as far as I can tell, all but universally ignored. Those ideas go as far (possibly in two stages) as ending exploitation — though with still no limit on income/wealth (while even eliminating all taxes, among other good things).

Rebel! Help get the revolutionary revolution underway.
