Thank you for an interesting exposition. I don’t know enough about Bitcoin to go beyond the remarks about it in Mr. Evans’s Response, with which I agree, but I thought your description of MMT was clear and accurate (and fair and balanced) — though Mr. Evans knows way more about MMT than I do.
One thing I do know is that neither Bitcoin nor MMT can guarantee to eliminate unemployment, poverty, taxes, and public debt. A DDI (“democratically distributed income”) does absolutely, positively guarantee to eliminate all of those and would help with sustainability.
