Thank you for a very interesting essay based on a strong insight. Might this new paradigm be described as a kind of trickle-down national socialism? Nationalism is invoked to galvanize popular support for government to institute ‘supply side’, ‘trickle down’ economic policies that dispense public largesse for benefit of rich people and Big Business.
