Surely we can all agree that there are more pressing problems for philosophers to address. The most important issue, I would say, is the need for an advance in our understanding of justice. The presence or absence of justice affects people's lives materially and psychologically. Liberalism, an approach to justice based on believing in equality and a priori 'Rights', is failing--because its fundamental conceptual weaknesses are being revealed in the praxis of Liberal society: people living separate lives together in this world under the aegis of that approach to justice. .
