So, ‘conservatism is progressivism’. Somebody seems to have gone through the Orwellian looking glass.

I agree that real progress has nothing to do with the political ‘left’. It doesn’t have anything to do with anything people on the ‘right’ are talking about, either.

As the old song says, “Justice is on no one’s mind/ that I can find” [Can A World Gone Crazy Go Sane Before It’s Too Late?, by Stephen Cotton]. Real progress is an advance in justice. To advance justice we must abandon ideology (and theology, too, in that domain) and turn to rationality.
