Politics is often a battle over economics. If there were a way to ensure that there would be no unemployment or poverty, whether in one state or two, much of the political pressure would be relieved.

It turns out such a thing is possible--while also eliminating taxes/public debt for funding government. Perhaps if Israelis and Palestinians were to shift their focus to improving the outcomes for society of the economic system they have, they would find that enmity would have much less of a place in their politics.

if curious: "Same Economy, Way Better Outcomes for Society" (here in Medium--written from the perspective of a citizen of the U.S.)
