Our rational capacity, which we use to explain this world to ourselves as we negotiate our way through it, was (I believe) given directly to us by the Lord. All theologies are the product of human beings. That doesn't make any theology necessarily false--but no theology is necessarily true, either. To take any theology as the Absolute Truth is to put one's faith in its authors.
