My studies have taught me that the ethic of justice is mutual respect: people taking one another into account as we live our separate lives together in this world. There is no limit on how just a person might choose to be. There is a 'minimum condition of justice', which boils down to a handful of absolute prohibitions: no killing, harming, coercing, stealing or manipulating. "Harming" can include harming psychologically, which can include inducing feelings of fear or apprehension. There is never a need to use language that even might be harmful in that way.
