Multiple stock analysts I have read have noted that the amount of stocks purchased by corporations re-purchasing their own stock accounts for the net purchase of stocks for the last ten years. So if those corporation weren’t doing that, the stock market would be trading at the same level it was trading at ten years ago. Needless to say, those corporation are at the front of the line for their portion of the ‘stimulus’.

What we need most of all is for the existing economy to serve all of society better: “For Crying Out Loud, ACCEPT That A SOLUTION Actually EXISTS” (a “2 min read” — including options for further reading — here in Medium). Knowing how long I have been touting this idea and how much better the economy could be — especially in the present situation — has exacerbated my frustration.
