Lord knows, we need all the new thinking we can get in this world. This article makes an excellent case for this idea.

I have developed another approach to a guaranteed income (for citizens--but any nation could opt this paradigm). It would not be paid to everyone, but any (adult) citizen could become eligible for it. The money for the income would be created as needed, but there are built-in safeguards against inflation.

The same process could be used to fund government (all government, form central to local) at the current per capita rate of total government spending. So there would ne no taxes or public debt (as long as public spending did not exceed that amount).
