It is the insistence that 'currency' that has to be bought (for those who are not 'miners') is somehow the solution to all the problems associated with this economy that makes me "emotional." Speculate in crypto all you want--it is no worse than speculating in stocks in the secondary market is--but please stop insisting it is some kind of panacea for society. Solving the societal problems associated with the existing economy can be accomplished with an adjustment to the existing monetary paradigm.
