Is it not the case that the ongoing inflationary spiral in assets is sustained by securities of the central government? A steadily increasing supply of low-cost public debt (used by government to purchase real goods and services) is sustaining the vortex of hyper-prosperity that the members of the investor class' are enjoying--while the rest of us are struggling to get by from month to month (often through increased loads of personal debt). The trickle-down economy is functioning as designed.
