Interestingly, a solution exists for unemployment and poverty as well as all taxes and public debt — meaning absolutely, positively eliminating all of them — that allows for capitalism to still be capitalism (defined as mass production of goods and services for sales in geographically extended markets). This solution could even be used to go beyond that, to eliminate exploitation (i.e. Marx’s “wage slavery:” some paying others to be employed as machines — or draft animals — for the monetary gain of the employer) without limiting income or wealth.
