In my opinion, your summation of Liberalism relates a nuance of perspective that is of great value. I would also opine that postmodernism, in the ultimate ‘emancipation’, has declared all individuals to be as radically independent with respect to knowledge — though it, too, has added valuable insights to our corpus of knowledge.
