If the most fundamental feature of postmodernism is the recognition that 'every human being has the capacity to decide for oneself what to accept as truth/knowledge (with anything else being some kind of 'structure of power'), then the right is more 'postmodern' than the left is. It is individualism taken to the point of madness.

I am convinced that ideology (secular religion), 'left' or 'right', is the problem it was intended to solve (by replacing theology with it): using personal beliefs to determine how society and its members should be governed. 'Cancel culture' isn't postmodernism; it's proof that even the ethic of mutual repect, if based on belief, can lead to a totalitarian position.
