I reject the implied thesis that "solar" money will somehow transform societies. Would government no longer exist? Presuming it would, how would it get funded? What about unemployment? Or poverty? How would the mere existence of such money prevent the rich from oppressing those who are not?

In almost all of the history of civilization money was mined. I don't think any review of that history will reveal a time when all was well.
