I like it. Ethical asceticism: live at a self-determined, self-enforced level of mere subsistence to bring down the insidious system. I've been doing it my whole life (72 this year)--though I have never thought about it in quite those terms.

It could become a movement. It needs a slogan.

"Ethical asceticism to end capitalism" (?)

'More gumption, less consumption: 'No' to capitalism" (?)
