I know neither of us is going to change our mind about this. That Amendment clearly links that right to both "A" (not 'the') "militia" (which is discussed more in Section 8 of the first Clause of the Constitution) and the "security" of the nation. That linkage makes that right something other than absolute. For that matter, even the right to life isn't absolute in this country; there are justified 'infringements' on even that right.
