I honestly don't get the point of this article. Apparently, as far as I can tell, the intent is to acknowledge that problems exist, thereby agreeing with people on the 'left' about something, but to make up for that by somehow making that point of agreement with them into a rant against them.

People on the left and the right use their battle against one another to justify being self-centered, intellectually lazy cowards. People in the middle don't even have that for an excuse.

Am I wrong about this particular reader? There is a way to prove that I am: learn about and either refute (as opposed to arbitrarily rejecting it) or advocate for an actual solution to all of the material problems we face--one that is not ideological in any way: "Same Economy, Way Better Outcomes for Society" (here in Medium, but not behind the paywall).
