I grow so weary of this suggestive fantasy that virtual gold (which is what all cryptocurrencies really are) is going to replace 'fiat money' and usher in... what? Can the existence of virtual gold solve even a single one of the problems that beset society? Unemployment? Poverty? Sustainability? No. The existence of virtual gold cannot solve one single societal problem.
