I glanced over the previous Responses. It seems they all missed what I take to be the essential point that was made here: society can an must do better. If it can do better with ‘capitalism’, that’s acceptable; if not, so be it.

I have developed a solution that can be applied to the existing economy: no part of the existing institutional structure would have to be torn down. So it is not radical. (If it matters, I do have an M.A. in economics.)

It is, however, revolutionary: it would transform the outcomes for society of the existing economy. Yet, at bottom it is only a different way of supplying the existing economy with money.
