I find the distinction made here between ideology and theology interesting. In my perspective, the two are, well, fundamentally the same: ideologies are secular religions, based on secular beliefs as opposed to sacral beliefs; it is the commitment to the correctness of one belief, de-legitimizing all others, that can (but not necessarily) drive both ideologues and theologues to the tactics that are said in this article to be definitive of ideologues.
The essential arbitrariness of all beliefs (from the point of view of any other person) is the reason why justice cannot be based on any belief. It must follow from observation within material existence.
