I don't disagree with any of this article. I do think that the same can be said about all ideology, that it is all secular religion.

Ideologies are based on secular beliefs. The beliefs that form the foundation of Liberalism, believing in the existence of a priori 'Natural Rights' and human 'equality', are two such beliefs. I see Marx as a radical equalitarian who wrapped his ideology in the trappings of 'science'. Believing in inequality--the inherent superiority of some group--is a tenet of all forms of fascism.
