I do wish you would read my linked article. Applying mutual respect to the economy is not at all the same thing as applying equality to it. I do agree with the point Nozick made in his rejoinder to Rawls is that end-state solutions are inherently arbitrary--and as Locke said, arbitrariness in human relations is injustice. This approach to making the existing economy more just would actually make the economy self-regulating: no means 'manage' the economy would even exist.
