I do not suggest one bit that 'capitulation' is the course the Arabs should have taken, but I definitely agree that poor--and worse--leadership has been a hallmark of the Arab side in the Arab-Israeli dispute from the very beginning. By all appearances, they have wanted above all to use the conflict for personal purposes, with hardly more regard for the well-being of 'their people' than the state of Israel has demonstrated.
