I do agree that Liberalism* is in decline. To my mind, the most important thing about it has been its unique approach to governing governance: seeking to understand what justice is, then applying that to the governance of society.

For people who care about justice, what is needed is an advance in our understanding of what justice is. To that end, I do have an idea to contribute: "A New Liberalism" (here in Medium, but--for the benefit of any 'guest readers'--not behind the paywall).

*i.e., the meta-ideology, whereas ‘liberalism’ refers to one of the narrower political ideologies Liberalism has spawned
