I appreciate the analysis made here, but I do agree with ‘vote blue no matter who’ because I am convinced that ’red’ is becoming anti-democracy. Beyond that, though, I maintain that ‘progressives’ are no closer than any other group to having an actual, permanent solution for even one of the macro level socioeconomic ills of our society: unemployment, poverty, taxation, public debt, sustainability.

I have learned that a solution for all of those is possible: “For Crying Out Loud, ACCEPT That A SOLUTION Actually EXISTS” (a “2 min read” — including options for further reading — here in Medium). I (to be clear, the author of the proposed solution) admit to being a bit frustrated.
