I am not a Marxist, but (in the interest of seeking a "correct answer") I am convinced that the idea of "Natural Rights" is a misplaced attempt at achieving justice. The only reason we can't harm or take from other people what they have (whether life, liberty, or property) is because they have 'Rights'? Isn't it better to say that we can't do those things to other people for the simple reason that they are fellow human beings? Rather than focusing on the affects we are having on other people, it seems to me that focusing on our supposed 'Rights' tends to encourage people to be self-centered.
