I agree wholeheartedly that a (peaceful) revolution is needed. For society, a “revolution” is a sudden, profound change. My position is that progress for humanity is an advance in justice. A progressive revolution requires an idea that is an advance in justice.

‘Real justice’ is a new approach to justice. It replaces beliefs (ideological or theological) with an ethic derived from observation within material existence. It replaces egoistic ‘Natural Rights’ with a requirement of mutual respect. Applying it to the governance of society would maximize liberty as a practical matter, reinforce political democracy, and transform the existing economy (any existing economy), making it self-regulating while eliminating unemployment, poverty, taxes, and public debt and increasing sustainability.
