I agree that the typical response to inflation is grossly classist. My studies have taught me that a permanent form of 'quantitative easing' aimed at ensuring the existence of a sufficient income for every adult citizen (and, as an option, funding all government — at current levels — without taxes or public debt), but with built-in safeguards against inflation, is the change we need to make to the existing system.
