I agree. That divide is making the U.S. ungovernable. Historically, nations that are ungovernable slide into chaos then turn to authoritarianism to end the chaos.

We still have time to save Liberal society (democracy and the rule of law with maximizing liberty as its primary concern--which implies a market-based economy). We do not, however, have a moment to lose.

To save Liberal society we must begin advocating like our lives depend on it for this single Act of Congress that can transform the outcomes for society of the existing economy.

Prepare to be astonished. The economic solution comes from democracy, but the ultimate economic dreams of both sides come true.
