"Social credit" has been here a long time--one Beijing would love to be able to impose. It's called your 'credit score'. It affects opportunities for employment, housing, and education, and even your personal cost of living. 'Conservatives' need to wake up to the fact the Big Business is, as it has ever been, the enemy of 'the people'--not government.
