Great stuff.

I have noticed that in the U.S. being in someone's way has become the preferred medium for much-needed "small victories." People go out of their way to be in someone else's way--and apparently, the more obvious, the better.

Also, I have observed that conservatives in this country have developed the same relationship with history that is ascribed to Russia in this article--if it is history that redounds to their political disadvantage.
