For what it's worth, I have developed a paradigm based on a "democratically distributed income." It would not be paid to everyone, but any (adult) citizen could become eligible for it. The money for it would be created as needed; it would not involve taxes in any way. It allows making a sufficient income a right to be a viable idea.
